The Legend of Pigman
Dr. James Marsh was a University of Michigan scientist who specialized in DNA and genetics.  He was illegally attempting to re-animate a dead body when he was discovered, had his medical license taken away, and was kicked out of the university.

After he left, he built a research center in Chelsea, Michigan, where he used common animals to perfect his cloning technique.  The construction of the laboratory brought many complaints and resistance from the locals. The grotesque results of his experiments filled the cages in his laboratory with hideous creatures.  Although he tried using chimpanzees, dogs, wolves, goats, and others, he was most successful with the pig.  Using cadavers that he stole from the university, he was able to re-animate his first experiment, the Pigman.  The Pigman was a huge beast with hair covering his body, a glistening snout, and sharp teeth.  He lived in the woods behind the laboratory, and lived off small animals and corn from a huge field   As Marsh’s experiments progressed, several other creatures were born, and soon hundreds of half-human/ half-beast hybrids roamed the woods and cornfield.  Several townspeople remember the sounds and screams coming from the property as Marsh did his work.

After one of Marsh’s chimp creatures was killed digging up another cadaver in the local cemetery, the police and townspeople grew more suspicious of the research center and began spying on him.   Marsh created Anna, a female Pig creature as a companion for the Pigman, and she, too, was killed by angry townspeople.  Marsh fled the property, knowing what was about to happen.  Led by a vengeful Pigman, a huge battle ensued and several dozen citizens were killed or injured after waging the war against the creatures.  It was a bloody massacre.  The creatures all survived after defending their home, but soon fled after the National Guard was called in.  They have not been seen since.

Pigman seeked refuge by joining a traveling freak sideshow.  That’s where he met Half-Man Hugo, who was the unfortunate victim of a tractor accident that left him with only his upper body, and a really bad attitude.  He also met Klownboy, an insane clown that loved sharp objects, piercings, and chainsaws.  They got spit on, laughed at, and humiliated over and over again.  After attacking and nearly killing a group of drunk teenagers, Pigman, Hugo, and Klownboy fled the circus, and have not been seen since.  Legend has it that Dr. Marsh eventually captured the Pigman, and cryogenically froze him, to be able to work on his "experiment" later.

Years later, the Marsh Lab property was turned into a fairgrounds for all families to enjoy.  Although it is a great place to share laughs and spend time with others, there still is a dark side to it.  The ghosts and screams still linger on the land, casting a dark memory down on the fairgrounds as a reminder of what happened.  This October marks the 20 year anniversary of the Marsh Massacre.  Residents have claimed to see and hear strange things again.  A furry, upright walking man with a snout was spotted recently running through a fence opening.  Screams and moans have been reported heard by some of the fairgroundskeepers as they were closing up for the night.  And an older man who closely resembles Dr. Marsh from years ago was seen at a local medical supply store.  The cryogenic chamber has been found underground at the Chelsea fairgrounds.....It has been dug up....It's been 20 years.  Pigman will rise again!
